Friends of Divine Mercy often promote their work at conferences, at talks, and in small prayer groups. When on one of these travels some of the members of our group were shown 14 photos which were taken of a statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It must be noted the photos were taken in a sequence of seconds apart by the same person using the same camera of the same object, the statue. Upon review it was discovered that one photo appeared to be completely different from the others. The one different photo of the collection of images of the statue showed a human life like representation of Mary.
Our Lady of Guadalupe's message to Juan Diego December 9, 1531 said "I am the merciful mother of all mankind." Mary's response is always the same, John 2:5, "do whatever Jesus tells you." Our mission is to spread this message of God's mercy to the whole world.
A remarkable thing also noticed from the photo is that at a distance of several feet away, Jesus's image appears. Jesus and Mary are on this photo together. It shows that Mary of Guadalupe and our merciful Lord Jesus are united in blessing our effort.
